Koreatown Youth and Community Center
KYCC is excited to announce our 33rd Anniversary Holiday Carnival, taking place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Cahuenga Elementary School, in Koreatown. For over 30 years, KYCC has brought holiday cheer to under-resourced families in our community through our beloved Holiday Carnival. What began as an effort by our staff to ease the challenges of the season, has grown into a treasured community tradition, offering free toys, arts and crafts, games, entertainment, and holiday memories for the whole family. In preparation for this milestone event we are asking for the community's help in sorting, organizing and wrapping presents to be distributed at KYCC's Holiday Carnival. It'll be a fun day filled with game booths, live performances, arts and crafts, and of course the highlight is a special chance to visit Santa Claus, who hands each child a beautifully wrapped (by you!) present. Every year, we have over 1,000 gifts to wrap so your help is needed to help make our carnival a memorable event for all. Volunteers are asked to assist with a variety of duties such as giftwrapping, organizing toys, managing inventory and supporting overall giftwrapping operations. These events are still in the early planning stages and shifts and more details will be posted in early November. Please contact volunteer@kyccla.org or call (213) 365-7400 Ext. 5239 with any questions or to learn more.
Should you have any questions, please contact volunteer@kyccla.org or (213) 365-7400 Ext. 5239.
Please use the "withdraw" function on this platform to remove yourself from your shift and make room for other volunteers :)
