KYCC is excited to announce a very special celebration, our 50th Anniversary Holiday Carnival, taking place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Wilton Place Elementary School, in Koreatown. For over 30 years, KYCC has brought holiday cheer to under-resourced families in our community through our beloved Holiday Carnival. What began as an effort by our staff to ease the challenges of the season, has grown into a treasured community tradition, offering free toys, arts and crafts, games, entertainment, and holiday memories for the whole family. In preparation for this milestone event we are asking for the community's help in sorting, organizing and wrapping presents to be distributed at KYCC's Holiday Carnival. It'll be a fun day filled with game booths, live performances, arts and crafts, and of course the highlight is a special chance to visit Santa Claus, who hands each child a beautifully wrapped (by you!) present. Every year, we have over 1,000 gifts to wrap so your help is needed to help make our carnival a memorable event for all. Volunteers are asked to assist with a variety of duties such as giftwrapping, organizing toys, managing inventory and supporting overall giftwrapping operations. Shifts: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please note, our 11/10, 11/12, and 12/10 shifts will primarily be focused on toy sorting/organizing. Address: 3727 W. 6th Street Suite 614 Los Angeles, CA 90020 Parking: Please park in the rear lot off Harvard Blvd. You will receive a ticket from the attendant - please give it to KYCC staff once you arrive and they will provide you with validation stickers. Parking is free. **This parking lot is closed to entry after 8:00 PM, and guests may only exit after this time** Registration: Please sign up at the bottom of this page by clicking on the "volunteer" button. If it says "fulfilled" the shift is full. All volunteers must be registered ahead of time and due to the popularity of this event and limited space, no walk-ins will be accepted. Snacks and light meals are provided. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
