KYCC is excited to announce our 33rd Anniversary Holiday Carnival, taking place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Cahuenga Elementary School, in Koreatown. For over 30 years, KYCC has brought holiday cheer to under-resourced families in our community through our beloved Holiday Carnival. What began as an effort by our staff to ease the challenges of the season, has grown into a treasured community tradition, offering free toys, arts and crafts, games, entertainment, and holiday memories for the whole family. In preparation for this milestone event we are asking for the community's help in sorting, organizing and wrapping presents to be distributed at KYCC's Holiday Carnival. It'll be a fun day filled with game booths, live performances, arts and crafts, and of course the highlight is a beautifully wrapped (by you!) present. Every year, we have over 1,000 gifts to wrap so your help is needed to help make our carnival a memorable event for all. Volunteers are asked to assist with a variety of duties such as giftwrapping, organizing toys, managing inventory and supporting overall giftwrapping operations. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Address: Please meet at 3727 W. 6th Street Suite 300, Los Angeles, CA 900020 where you will be provided with an overview of the night and a light dinner. If you are arriving after 6:30 p.m. please proceed directly to suite 603. Parking: Please use the parking lot in the rear of the building and pick up a ticket from the attendant, which we can validate after your shift. DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF THIS EVENT, ANY NO-SHOWS WHO DO NOT NOTIFY US OF THEIR ABSENCE WILL BE REMOVED FROM FUTURE GIFTWRAPPING SHIFTS.
