Bridge High School Volunteer Program

Koreatown Youth and Community Center

KYCC’s BRIDGE volunteer program, located at our Wilton site, aims to close the gaps in academic, social, and emotional growth in our elementary and middle school students by recruiting, training, and placing high school volunteers who will work directly with our students in our K-8th grade afterschool programs. We will provide volunteers with regular training and workshops that will prepare and strengthen their skills as tutors and mentors to support our younger students. The experiences our volunteers will acquire through BRIDGE will also enable and empower them to develop their leadership and life skills by connecting them to a larger cause. After one year, Bridge members may also apply for officer positions within the group. School Year Shifts: Monday - Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m from August 12, 2024 - June 10, 2025 Minimum of two, two-hour shift required per week for a full school year term Bridge is now recruiting! Please email volunteer@kyccla.org for your application. SPACE IS LIMITED and this program will fill up quickly, so we advise all interested volunteers to inquire ASAP.
