Clinical Internship (MSW)

Koreatown Youth and Community Center

Summary: KYCC’s Clinical Services unit believes everyone deserves help to deal with the stresses of life. Bilingual (Spanish and Korean) mental health counselors are ready to help clients and their family access high-quality, culturally appropriate mental health services. Currently enrolled masters-level clinical interns will provide supervised one-on-one and/or group mental health services. Qualifications and Requirements: • Must be currently enrolled in an MSW program • Candidates must be Spanish or Korean bilingual. • Must have general computer skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Must be able to see to inspect written documents or supervise children • Must be able to hear a child calling for help • Must have the ability to communicate with KYCC staff, affiliates, clients and public • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time • Must be able to bend, kneel and reach to retrieve and replace files • Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment • Must be able to lift up 30 lbs THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY.
