MacArthur Park Youth Protecting and Reviving Community is a youth coalition that centers on nurturing youth as active leaders and resources in their communities to better the environment at MacArthur Park through leadership development and civic engagement. Duties include: 1. Participate in weekly leadership and advocacy development trainings and monthly civic engagement opportunities at MacArthur Park and within the Westlake community. 2. Plan and coordinate engagement activities to garner community support to reduce the environmental burden of hazardous tobacco and cannabis waste at MacArthur Park. Participants must be between the ages of 12 - 18 years old. PLEASE NOTE, THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY.
