Join KYCC, Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA), LA City Councilwoman Heather Hutt - District 10, LA City Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky - District 5, City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works, and Office of Community Beautification, as we celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, beautify our neighborhood and make it more livable for our community members. We can't do it alone and need your help! Every year, KYCC, our volunteers and partners removes thousands of bags of trash from our neighborhood to improve the quality of life for our residents, keeping trash out of our oceans and building a better Los Angeles. At this event, volunteers will work in small teams to beautify a designated part of our community. All tools and supplies are provided. Event Location: Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (KAFLA) 981 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90006 Parking: No on-site KAFLA parking is available - free parking is available at Koreatown Plaza located at 928 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90006. Carpooling and public transit is always encouraged! Date/Time: Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Registration and snacks begin at 9:30 a.m. Registration: ALL volunteers must register in advance, regardless of age. Any volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a supervising adult for the duration of the event.
