Koreatown Youth and Community Center
Thank you for volunteering for KYCC's 31st Annual Holiday Carnival! We are excited to host this free event for the community which will be filled with game booths, live performances, arts and crafts, and a special chance to visit Santa Claus, who hands each child a wrapped holiday gift. Our success is the result of a joint effort by KYCC and supporters like YOU, who helped to create this safe and family-friendly festival in Koreatown. ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE TO SECURE THEIR PLACE. WE CANNOT ACCEPT WALK-IN VOLUNTEERS. * The minimum age to volunteer at this event is 16 years old. For many roles, you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. These areas will be indicated on the form. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. We'll be providing a t-shirt for you to wear to identify you as an event volunteer. Volunteers who are coming as part of a team are welcome to wear their own team's shirts at our event. Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024 Location: Wilton Place Elementary School. Volunteers should enter via the Magnolia Science Academy gate on 8th street near 3rd. Ave. Parking: Street parking only. Please allow ample time to find parking. Generally speaking the residential neighborhood south of Wilton Place Elementary tends to have more parking. If you'd like to sign up to do giftwrapping for our holiday carnival, please visit https://kyccla.volunteermatters.org/project-catalog/246. NOTE: Although we have group sign ups available, due to the popularity of this opportunity, we ask that you limit your group reservations to no more than 10 slots, and that you fill all slots that you reserve.
Should you have any questions, contact Ernie Yoshikawa at eyoshikawa@kyccla.org or (213) 365-7400 Ext. 5239.
Please use the "withdraw" function on this platform to remove yourself from your shift and make room for other volunteers :)
